About the Role

Our organization requires a skilled Demand Planner to take on a 12-month maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting, analyzing and planning for our extensive product portfolio of over 10,000 SKUs across various beauty brands.

This is a key role at the heart of our operations, ensuring that we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. The Demand Planner will lead demand forecasting and inventory planning across multiple categories, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain availability, support product launches and meet commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead demand forecasting, stock planning and supplier engagement across your portfolio
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to support seasonal, promotional and NPD stock planning
  • Monitor stock availability and flag risks (short-dated, excess, OOS) early
  • Develop and run regular reporting to provide insights for commercial decision-making
  • Work collaboratively across brands, warehouse, marketing and finance to ensure plans are aligned and executed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in planning processes and reporting
You Are:

A commercially savvy planner who can turn data into clear actions and drive business outcomes. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, building relationships across teams or with suppliers, and driving results-oriented planning.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • At least 2 years' experience in demand/supply planning, preferably in retail, e-commerce or FMCG
  • Proven ability to work with large SKU counts (5,000+) and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong skills in spreadsheet software (Excel or Google Sheets) including VLOOKUPs, pivots, and data modeling
  • Familiarity with planning systems or ERP platforms is a plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Detail-oriented, commercially curious, and comfortable working under pressure
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Business/Commerce/Marketing etc.) is desired but not essential
