About the Position
You will play a critical role in ensuring that Government-funded programs are delivered effectively to support Australian people and communities. Working in close connection to service providers and community, you will be the 'eyes and ears' of the department.
Duties:
- Assess and monitor the performance of funded organisations against agreed objectives, targets and outcomes in the grant agreement
- Address instances of poor performance or non-compliance with input from a supervisor to achieve the policy and program outcomes
- Build strong relationships with organisations
- Proactively identify, document and escalate issues and risks that may impact the funded organisation's ability to achieve policy or program outcomes
- Adhere to standard processes to ensure quality in work and identify improvements
- Use various IT systems to monitor and record performance and risk data
- Identify local and environmental trends that impact the delivery of policies and programs
- Gather and analyse local intelligence to feed back to policy areas on the impact of policies and programs
Requirements/Skills:
- Must be an Australian Citizen (with the ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance)
