We are seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer in Gold Coast. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead project delivery teams, manage projects from initiation through to completion, and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead project delivery teams and coordinate designs and contract administration.
  • Negotiate with clients, Authorities, and other consultants to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Assist Principal Engineers with workload planning to meet project deadlines.
  • Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth.
  • Manage commercial risk and make responsible decisions.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to improve team performance.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience budgeting, financial acumen, and risk management.
  • High level industry awareness and engagement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • REPQ certification desirable.
