Commercial Excellence Manager

The role of a Commercial Excellence Manager is to drive business growth through effective commercial practices, strategic negotiations, and efficient project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement commercial excellence strategies across various projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Manage commercial risks, resolve disputes, and implement process improvements to enhance overall performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement registers, DNOPs, and consultant cost tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, reducing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Analyze design budgets from CATs, adjust cost codes accordingly, and provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related disciplines.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in related fields are an asset.
  • Tier 1 experience in commercial and contract administration on construction projects, with a strong background in negotiation, risk management, and project coordination.
