About the Role

As a key member of the 13cabs leadership team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a critical role in developing and executing risk strategies to mitigate fraud, product abuse, and chargeback activities. This senior leadership position will oversee a team of four professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cross-functional business processes and service level agreements to meet internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Maintain effective internal fraud prevention and risk protocols to minimize payments-related risks, fraud, product abuse, and revenue loss across the business
  • Conduct thorough user activity investigations through data analysis from various sources (customer support tickets, trip activity, network/operator analysis) in response to internal and external escalations, applying learnings to enhance process efficiency
  • Collaborate with third-party entities (banks, law enforcement) on fraud investigations
  • Identify and implement risk strategies & corrective actions to mitigate compliance and fraud risks while ensuring optimal detection of fraudulent transactions and maintaining a seamless client experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the payments fraud environment affecting A2B payments products
About You:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • 5-10 years' experience managing Risk, Trust, and Safety, Fraud, or advanced Customer Support teams handling incident investigations OR other relevant investigation roles
  • Business Process Re-engineering experience/Project Management skills
  • Excellent business communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
