The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Wholesale Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in Richmond. This role will support the Wholesale business in achieving targets and driving performance. By providing commercial and financial insights, you will contribute to business planning, decision-making, and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Review cost, margin, and profitability benchmarks with General Managers. Build budgets, review and modify budget templates, and prepare forecasts for the Wholesale business.
  • Budget Management: Provide timely tracking of sales, capital expenditures, and expenses to budget holders. Manage each Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and relevant balance sheet items.
  • Performance Monitoring: Prepare data to show variations from budgets and forecasts in sales, margin, and expenses. Offer commentary on variances for regular reports.
  • Quarterly Forecasting: Assist with the quarterly forecasting process to ensure accurate predictions.
  • Financial Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility analysis to provide timely insights that drive informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in management accounting or analytical roles within a multi-branded retailer or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A degree in Business, Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), or other financially oriented disciplines.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-lookups, and Charts. Experience using business intelligence software and tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at various levels within the organization.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
