
Business Development Specialist

As a key figure in our Business Banking team, you will be responsible for fostering long-lasting relationships with commercial clients and acting as their trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a pod of Business Banking Managers to effectively manage a portfolio of commercial professionals with complex business lending needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
To achieve this, you will conduct regular customer reviews to provide bespoke business and consumer solutions to Commercial customers. You will also prepare high-quality sales proposal documents and submissions to ensure deal quality is strong and reduce re-work.
Requirements- A proven track record in Business Banking, preferably in a Relationship Manager role or at an associate level looking to step up.
- An in-depth understanding of customer needs, including challenges, trends, and the competitive and regulatory environment.
- The ability to evaluate credit worthiness with a risk focus, considering key risks, structural considerations, repayment, pricing for risk, and policy exceptions.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship building skills, with strong communication abilities.
