Front Office Manager

The Front Office Manager is the key contact for guests and plays a vital role in ensuring their overall experience is positive. This includes managing staff, monitoring hotel security, and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the running of the hotel when the manager or rooms division manager is absent.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize operations within the front office, including monitoring hotel security.
  • Develop effective strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure all staff are present on time and in uniform.
  • Maintain communication with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage VIP and group arrivals and departures, ensuring all preparations are made.
  • Emphasize the importance of exceptional service among all staff, ensuring they understand and implement hotel service values.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing processes.
  • Manage the hotel complaint system and perform the function of manager on duty.
  • Ensure front office departmental rosters are cost-effective and that a clear handover occurs between shifts.
