Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Risk Manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to formulate and implement strategies that effectively manage project risk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and controlling risks associated with projects, ensuring they are aligned with organizational policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and commercial skills, as well as experience working with risk management tools.

You must also possess excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate risk insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Identification & Ownership: Identify and assume ownership of project risks
  • Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA): Conduct thorough risk analysis using quantitative methods
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular risk reports and present complex data in a clear manner
  • Financial Risk Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to estimate risk exposure
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Citizenship: Australian Citizenship required
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain or currently hold an Australian Security Clearance
  • Risk Management Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in risk management, with demonstrated capability at a senior level
  • Analytical and Commercial Acumen: Strong quantitative skills and commercial awareness, with a high level of accuracy
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using risk tools such as Active Risk Manager, Cura, @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Safran, Primavera Risk Analysis
  • Data Visualisation Skills: Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
