The position commences with 4 days of fully paid training on-site from Tuesday 3rd December 2024 to Friday 6th December 2024. Following training, successful candidates will be assigned to casual shifts across 7 days per week between 9:00am and 5:06pm. We prefer applicants who can commit to at least 3-4 shifts per week.

About the Role:
  • Engage visitors with warmth and professionalism, fostering memorable experiences.
  • Provide accurate and insightful information on exhibitions, tours, and activities, enriching visitor understanding.
  • Develop engaging public programs that enhance visitor appreciation.
  • Contribute to maintaining gallery security while conveying the Memorial's ethos with sensitivity.
Benefits:
  • The hourly rate for this assignment is $40.73, including casual loading during training. Upon 'signing off', the rate increases to $41.60 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Penalty rates apply for hours worked on Sundays or Public Holidays.

  • Australian citizenship is required, along with passing a National Police Check.
