**Job Title:** Senior Azure Developer Position for Cloud-Based Solution Implementation

**Estimated Salary:** AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Azure technologies. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in developing secure web-based business solutions, with a strong focus on Azure API Manager, customer-facing web portal development, and integration with third-party systems.

As a Senior Azure Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining Azure-based web APIs and portal applications to support existing legislative reporting requirements and new regulatory processes;
  • Integrating various system components to achieve a seamless end-to-end experience for users;
  • Providing technical advice on issues related to systems development;
  • Applying secure coding practices and processes to ensure solutions delivered are secure and robust;
  • Conducting peer reviews of code and infrastructure;
  • Understanding and coding against detailed application architecture documents;
  • Ensuring that best practice and Departmental standards are applied and managed;
  • Creating and reviewing technical release documentation;
  • Effectively communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Collaborating and mentoring team members to promote team harmony and support cross-skilling professional development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure technologies, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Service Bus, as well as experience with unit/integration/automation testing, xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, and Playwright.Net. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams and technical and non-technical staff at all levels.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Demonstrated experience (Min 5 years) implementing secure web-based business solutions;
  • Experience developing web APIs using Azure API Manager and customer-facing web portal development using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET;
  • Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM), its controls, and how to apply them to a solution design and build;
  • Experience with unit/integration/automation testing;
  • Familiarity with xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, and Playwright.Net;
  • Cloud experience: Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation with technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Service Bus;
  • Agile: Experience working with Agile multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure, user-friendly, and reliable solutions that meet stakeholder, citizen, and business expectations.
