Clinical Lead for Chronic Cardiovascular Care

The role of Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 requires a registered nurse appointed to a position approved by the health service, boasting at least 5 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience and possessing relevant nursing/midwifery qualifications or such other qualifications deemed appropriate by the health service.
This leadership position involves delivering patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary framework. The successful applicant will demonstrate clinical expertise, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical guidance and expertise in chronic cardiovascular care
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes
- Conduct education and training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
- Participate in service planning and development to improve patient care and services
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum five years full time equivalent post graduate qualification experience and/or a post graduate qualification in field of practice
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated recent cardiology experience in an acute care facility
