About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Lead to join our Main App division. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for driving the design direction across multiple products within the app, collaborating with product managers, and leading a group of designers to deliver high-quality design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead 2-3 product designers through design collaboration, feedback, and direction.
  • Collaborate with multiple product managers to establish timelines, delivery, and priorities.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and protection to your designers.
  • Create a positive design environment to foster their growth.
  • Design and communicate ideas, direction, and provide additional support when needed.
  • Establish, maintain, and update an ideal design process for your team.
  • Share expertise and knowledge in design to train designers.
  • Run and facilitate user research activities, including 1:1 user interviews, focus groups, or usability tests.
  • Work with the executive team to understand and apply the big picture vision and direction.
  • Present and communicate design direction, decisions, and rationale to other teams.
Requirements
  • Must have extraordinary knowledge of design as a craft and contribute a deep skillset to the team.
  • Extensive experience designing multiple B2C digital products/services for international audiences.
  • A solid portfolio of work containing examples of design for digital products and services.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design and user experience principles.
  • Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects and ship quality products at scale.
  • Experience with developing and coaching a design team.
  • An experienced leader with a strong creative vision and understanding of business objectives.
