About this Role:

The Commissionaire is a vital member of our Guest Services team, responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and farewell guests in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance with inquiries and transportation as needed.
  • Provide information to guests and patrons, and follow through on requested arrangements.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel services and facilities, including local amenities, transportation services, and hotel functions.
  • Coordinate and be aware of general arrival and departure patterns, including functions, group movements, and VIPs.
  • Ensure the driveway is clear and safe for guests, and arrange taxis/limousines as needed.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of guest luggage, and maintain the cleanliness of all work areas.
  • Restrict undesirable characters from entering the hotel and report any suspicious activity to Security or the Assistant Manager.
