We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our dynamic team as a Business Development Representative. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business that values its people, rewards performance, and offers a vibrant, supportive workplace.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Handling customer enquiries regarding equipment hire, sales, off-hires, pricing, and quotations.
  • Providing accurate, competitive quotes and product recommendations.
  • Coordinating deliveries and pickups (internal and external transport).
  • Maintaining day sheets and required documentation.
  • Entering contracts and updating daily branch KPI reports.
  • Liaising with drivers, yard hands, sales reps, and management.
  • Promoting the full range of company products and spotting cross-sell opportunities.
  • Greeting visitors and answering calls promptly with a friendly, professional approach.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in internal sales or customer service coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders - sales teams, warehouse staff, and management.
  • Construction or hire industry experience is an advantage (but not essential).
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to grow your product knowledge.
