About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Building Support Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer expectations, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage customer expectations by providing regular updates on the status of their home during the building process.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain a professional link between Metricon clients and site personnel to ensure feedback and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate customer files with relevant contract, variations, and other required documentation.
  • Create workflow, complete tasks as they arise, and ensure all information is up-to-date in the database.
  • Provide relevant documentation, including compliance certificates, to nominated Building Inspectors.
  • Coordinate the installation of gas lines and meters with authorities using CPT reports.
  • Coordinate electricity disconnection with service providers upon settlement.

Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-focused role with conflict and problem management focus.
  • Building knowledge in the industry, currently or previously.
  • Proven ability to work in a pivotal customer contact role in a customer-focused, time-critical working environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook computer skills.
