Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Experience Ambassador to join our team at The Star Sydney, a well-known and established entertainment and resort destination. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing proactive guest engagement and support across the gaming floor and private gaming areas;
  • Promoting and providing feedback on customer-related service programs;
  • Demonstrating commitment to service excellence through effective implementation and delivery of service standards;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve established service standards and repeat business;
  • Guiding customers on game selection, rules, and gameplay;
  • Maintaining gaming areas in a clean, organized, and well-maintained state;
  • Monitoring gaming activities for compliance with establishment policies;
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently;
  • Completing new membership sign-ups and membership reactivation;
  • Informing customers about leisure and entertainment options;
  • Assisting the marketing department with promotional activities;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a guest service-related field;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Computer literacy; and
  • Exposure to hospitality or gaming environment (RSA qualification required for Level 5 Sovereign Room Duties).
