At Wyndham Destinations, we're on a mission to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. As a Customer Experience Ambassador, you'll be the face of our company, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.

About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, building rapport with guests, and generating sales appointments for our sales team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and registering owners and guests
  • Providing information on local area attractions
  • Completion of all department-related paperwork
  • Utilizing communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers
  • Meeting guests face-to-face and generating sales appointments for our sales team
  • Establishing commonality and building rapport with customers to ensure an exceptional experience is delivered
  • Working closely with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and seamless transition for owners and guests through the check-in process
  • Clearly articulating the benefits of traveling within Wyndham Destinations' community
  • Meeting targets and KPIs set by the business
  • This role requires you to be available for weekend and public holiday shifts
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar hotel position
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the local area
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards
  • High levels of computer literacy
  • Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera etc) is advantageous
  • The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public, and school holidays
