About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our client's IT Digital Transformation Programs in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT Digital Transformation Programs, overseeing staff management and resource allocation within the team.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users.
  • Define project plans, create timelines, and establish milestones to track progress.
  • Ensure that all IT Digital Transformation Projects within the program are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage program-level financials and address any variations to allocated budgets.
  • Oversee the program-level resource model to ensure that projects within the program have the appropriate staffing and resources.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor account management activities.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in local government.
  • Strong leadership skills, team management, and mentoring experience.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  • Extensive industry experience in project and/or program management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, effective communication, negotiation, and vendor collaboration.
  • Financial acumen for program-level budget allocation, tracking, and decision-making.
