About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Program Manager to lead our client's IT Digital Transformation Programs in the public sector.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Leadership: Oversee the IT Digital Transformation Programs, managing staff and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Project Planning: Define project plans, create timelines, and establish milestones to track progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  4. Financial Management: Manage program-level financials, addressing any variations to allocated budgets and ensuring financial acumen for program-level budget allocation, tracking, and decision-making.
  5. Resource Management: Oversee the program-level resource model to ensure that projects within the program have the appropriate staffing and resources.
  6. Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor account management activities.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  1. A proven track record of successfully delivering digital transformation initiatives.
  2. Experience working in local government.
  3. Strong leadership skills, team management, and mentoring experience.
  4. Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  5. Extensive industry experience in project and/or program management.
  6. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, effective communication, negotiation, and vendor collaboration.
