Our Team and Opportunity

The Key Account Team within Financial Adviser Services drives sales efforts across key gatekeepers, including platforms, licensees, research houses, asset consultants, and institutional mid-market clients. As the National Key Account Platform Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and deepening relationships with third-party platforms.

This position sits within the Key Account Team and reports to the Senior Manager of Key Accounts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and enhance relationships with platform partners.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain strong relationships with third-party platforms, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal queries related to platforms and mid-market clients.
  3. Oversee contractual agreements, including platform master agreements, pricing arrangements, and rebate structures.
  4. Ensure compliance with Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure accurate and timely platform reporting.
  6. Compile and share key insights and emerging trends across Vanguard.

  • Strong experience working with or for investment platforms.
  • A deep understanding of the legal and regulatory obligations of a fund manager in a platform environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven project management skills.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into legal, regulatory, and technical contexts.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively both internally and externally.
