About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Technician to join our team as a Technical Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from a technical role to training and development. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and developing technical training programs to enhance the automotive skills and knowledge within our dealer network.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, deliver, and assess technical training courses in line with Volkswagen Group training requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student enrollment, course participation, and outcomes.
  • Adhere to quality management systems and processes.
  • Identify and understand specific Learning & Development requirements for relevant parties and develop new training material.
  • Identify and understand knowledge gaps in the Dealer Network and design appropriate programs to address these gaps.
  • Adhere to all WHS requirements for the areas of responsibility.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • Qualified Motor Technician or practical technical mechanical experience required with any of our group brands.
  • An understanding or passion for the automotive industry, in particular knowledge of our Volkswagen Group products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Computer literacy and exposure to multiple systems such as learning management systems like Canvas and Job ready.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and motivating individual determined to inspire and coach others.
