Assistant Director - Truscott Street OOSH

A dynamic and supportive environment is required for an enthusiastic Assistant Director/Educational Leader.

The centre has a capacity of 95 beautiful children, great resources, and a nurturing atmosphere. The Assistant Director will be supported by an experienced Director and a dedicated staffing team.

The centre is operated by a parent management subcommittee via the local school community.

">

This is a permanent position consisting of face-to-face shifts during term and vacation care. Additional hours are dedicated to administration for programme planning and other tasks.

Essentials:

">

- At least 2 years of experience working in childcare, preferably with school-aged children.
- Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, CPR, and WWCC, or willingness to obtain.
- Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and Regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of the My Time, Our Place / Early Years Learning Framework and the ability to plan and implement a recreational and learning program.

Desirable:

">

- OOSH related qualifications: Degree in Primary/Early Education / Diploma in Children's Services / Diploma/Cert IV in OSHC / Cert III in Children's Services or currently working towards.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or management position.

Knowledge of WH&S requirements in childcare settings.
