About Our Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and driven individuals who want to make a positive impact in people's lives.
As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance to clients with daily tasks, social interactions, and personal development. Your role will be focused on helping clients achieve their goals and live independently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, grooming, and feeding
- Help with household chores, cooking, cleaning, and arranging transportation
- Support clients at independent living complexes
- Facilitate community outings and day programs
- Develop life skills, confidence, and independence through capacity-building programs
- Coordinate support services, including education, health, and housing
Requirements:
- Desire to work in community services in the disability sector
- Experience working with diverse people
- Able to build relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Current full driver's license
- NDIS Workers Screening check
- Recent qualification or studying towards one in Individual Support (desirable)
