
Regional Forensic Mental Health Services Leader

As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and operating the regional site of Forensicare's Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS).

- Provide high-level management, clinical, and forensic expertise to the regional team.
- Coordinate the implementation and operation of the regional team in conjunction with the Consultant Psychiatrist.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the service model for regional forensic mental health services.
This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service expansion, reflecting the expanding growth of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex programs effectively and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to program growth and development.
- Ensuring performance targets are met and providing high-level advice to the Executive Director on emerging issues impacting the regional team.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated commitment to mental health consumer recovery and incorporating consumer perspectives into service delivery. A relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 10 years of post-registration mental health experience are required.
Required Skills and QualificationsFor this role, we seek candidates with:
- A relevant tertiary qualification as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
- Registration or membership with the appropriate Board or Association.
- Minimum 10 years of post-registration mental health experience.
