Forensic Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Forensic Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with complex cases and drive the future of forensic intervention in Victoria.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, to determine appropriate treatment pathways.
  • Deliver individualised services, including clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and treatment programs.
  • Prepare treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
  • A current driver licence.

As a Forensic Mental Health Clinician, you will work within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment. You will also have opportunities to participate in professional development, including clinical scholarship, research programs, and study leave opportunities.
