
Forensic Mental Health Leadership Role

This is a multidisciplinary role that involves providing high-level management, clinical, and forensic expertise to the regional and rural team.
- The Manager will support the establishment of the regional site and operations.
- The Manager is responsible for coordinating the effective delivery of services by the regional team, including responding to referral and program enquiries, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, contributing to the program's growth and development, and ensuring performance targets are met.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated commitment to mental health consumer recovery and incorporating consumer perspectives into service delivery.
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate Board or Association as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 10 years of post-registration mental health experience.
- Ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team and lead complex programs effectively.
- Extensive experience in psychosocial and risk assessments, and in planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical mental health interventions.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, facilitate, and negotiate with stakeholders, professionals, clients, and carers.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, mental health, and criminal justice systems.

This position will initially have a hybrid working arrangement between Clifton Hill and home, pending site establishment after July 2025.
