About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Port Operations Team Leader to join our team. As a Port Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of direct reports, ensuring efficient and effective processes at the Port (Turnaround & Shorex) that include constant collaboration and coordination between the team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of direct reports, ensuring efficient and effective processes at the Port (Turnaround & Shorex)
  • Ensure operations changes at the pier are managed to the detail and suppliers receive last minute changes or requests
  • Oversee and manage operations incidents at the assigned Port and reviewing that there is no impact in the delivery of the operation
  • Develop and maintain continuous communication with the cruise ships and both internal and external stakeholders, including Port Authorities
  • Work closely with the Port Delivery Team Manager to ensure a good commercial relationship with Cruise Lines by providing that all relevant feedback picked up during operation is reported
  • Coordinate daily operational incidents to guarantee that cruise line SLA ́s are met
  • Supervise and monitor the operational teams including managing the staffing lists for the day
  • Guarantee that all information of the operation is collected in a timely and efficient manner for invoicing purposes
