Port Delivery Team Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Port Delivery Team Operations Manager to lead our team at the Port in New South Wales, Australia.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team of direct reports, ensuring efficient and effective processes at the Port (Turnaround & Shorex). This includes constant collaboration and coordination between team members. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to oversee operations changes at the pier and ensure suppliers receive last-minute changes or requests.
- Manage and coordinate daily operational incidents to guarantee that cruise line Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Supervise and monitor operational teams, including managing staffing lists for the day.
- Guarantee that all information of the operation is collected in a timely and efficient manner for invoicing purposes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain continuous communication with cruise ships and internal and external stakeholders, including Port Authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate daily operational incidents.
- Supervise and monitor operational teams.
- Collect and provide information for invoicing purposes.
