Minor Works Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Capital Works Team at RMIT University as a Minor Works Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned minor works projects under the direction of management and supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple minor projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Investigate project user requirements, estimate project costing, and monitor project progress.
- Provide technical expertise and resolve issues or discrepancies as needed.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Manage project risks and ensure all minor works meet financial, performance quality, safety, and environmental objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge and experience in managing and delivering minor works projects in a large complex organization.
- Demonstrated ability to inform, engage, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good standard of verbal and written skills, negotiation, and interacting skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing regular updates on project progressions and outcomes.
- Technical knowledge of construction and professional disciplines, including Victorian Building Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
