Job Description:

The Programs and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing staff and resources, implementing strategies to improve processes and outcomes, overseeing multiple projects, and supervising staff within the team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of capacity building projects, including those in the Youth, Aging and Aged care, Mental Health, and Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project delivery, staff performance, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for partnership aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Supervise and coordinate staff within the team, ensuring effective allocation of responsibilities, regular performance reviews, and development needs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher, with substantial experience in management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and teams.
  • A detailed working knowledge of research related to LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing, and its implications for service delivery, policy, and interventions.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with experience in leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team.
  • Ability to organise work effectively, efficiently, and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
