As a Senior Applications Developer, you will be part of a leading business on an exciting long-term program in Adelaide CBD.

This role presents the opportunity to lead initiatives, collaborate across teams, and deliver enterprise-level outcomes in a complex, secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-value business outcomes by leveraging technical expertise and collaboration skills.
  • Consult on application development projects to ensure alignment with enterprise technology architecture and drive strategic business outcomes.
  • Oversee technology implementation, modification, and standardization across shared solutions to optimize business efficiency.
  • Create and deliver production-ready reference implementations for agile teams to foster innovation and speed-to-market.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies to support business and IT strategies, driving digital transformation and growth.
  • Manage software onboarding requests to ensure data integrity across downstream systems, maintaining business continuity and accuracy.
  • Document enterprise technology design, analysis, and governance activities to ensure transparency and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years of experience in Java Development, with strong knowledge of Java 17+.
  • Proficiency in Git (Bitbucket/GitLab), branching strategies, pull requests, conflict resolution, and repository management.
  • Experience with Tomcat Configuration and deploying Java and web applications in a Tomcat environment.
  • Strong experience with SpringBoot Ecosystem and related libraries.
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience with Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of Security & Authentication protocols, including LDAP, SAML, OAuth2.0.
  • Experience designing/documenting RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Containerisation & DevOps skills are beneficial but not required.
