About the Team

Our team's primary focus is on ensuring that sneaker buyers receive genuine products with confidence when shopping online.

About the Role

As an Authenticity Lead, you will uphold buyer trust in sneakers at our platform, delivering an elevated experience to customers.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team through inspection, authentication, and re-packaging of sneakers according to strict standards and processes.
  • Utilizing expertise in sneakers to confirm an item's authenticity by locating brand identifiers (i.e. SKU, size, manufacturer defects, assess wear).
  • Evaluating the quality of materials and construction of footwear.
  • Leading the team to meet SLAs across authentication, quality control, and process flow.
  • Liaising with Global Authentication Leads on Australian trend forecasting.
  • Assisting with Global Authentication Leads and Trainers on Australian training plans and communicating schedules with Operations Manager.
  • Flagging potential issues with Authentication Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Working with our software and technology systems to track the item from dock receiving to the moment it is posted to the end customer.
  • Proactively working with the warehouse team and customer service to optimize processes.
  • Maintaining detailed notes and entering accurate data into our authentication database, including release information, product SKUs, and production dates.

The Ideal Candidate

Key qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of sneakers across all brands, including originals, luxury, and re-releases.
  • Comfortable with leading a team.
  • An eye for detail, with a precise and analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable with technology platforms.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Availability to work extended hours as occasionally needed, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Ability to hold and move boxes (up to 20kg).
