eBay is the first and leading destination for fashion re-commerce and we are looking for a Sneaker Authenticator to help deliver trusted experiences to our luxury customers.

**About the team**:
Our team is responsible for the authentication experience at eBay. We know that sneaker buyers want the real deal and eBay's Authenticity Guarantee provides peace of mind when shopping online.

**About the role**:
In this role you will be responsible for upholding buyer trust in sneakers at eBay, delivering an elevated experience to customers.

**Here are some things you'll find yourself doing day-to-day**:

- Lead the team through inspection, authentication and re-packaging sneakers adhering to strict standards and processes.
- Utilise expertise in sneakers to confirm an item's authenticity by locating brand identifiers (i.e SKU, size, manufacturer defects, assess wear)
- Evaluate the quality of materials and construction of footwear
- Lead the team to meet SLAs across authentication, quality control and process flow
- Liaise with Global Authentication Leads on Australian trend forecasting
- Assist with Global Authentication Leads and Trainers on Australian training plans and communicate schedules with Operations Manager
- Flag potential issues with Authentication Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders
- Work with eBay software and technology systems to track the item from dock receiving to the moment it is posted to the end customer.
- Proactively work with the warehouse team and customer service to optimise processes.
- Keep detailed notes and enter accurate data into our authentication database, including release information, product skus and production dates

**The person we're looking for**:

- Knowledge of sneakers across all brands, including originals, luxury and re-releases
- Comfortable with leading a team
- An eye for detail, with a precise and analytical mindset.
- Comfortable with technology platforms.
- Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Must be able to hold and move boxes (up to 20kg)
