The school, located in central Hobart, is an internationally accredited institution with a strong tradition of staff and student engagement.
A Payroll Specialist position has arisen due to long service leave. This temporary role requires the end-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
The successful candidate will work within a team of three, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to payroll queries and making adjustments as necessary
- Processing leave entitlements for staff members
- Reviewing overtime reports and liaising with management and staff on payroll matters
To be suitable for this role, candidates should possess a strong background in large-scale payroll processing, preferably with experience using Synergetic or similar systems. Familiarity with the Education Award is highly desirable. A current Working with Vulnerable People Check and up-to-date Police Check are essential requirements.
