Job Description

The role of Payroll Advisor is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the effective operation of payroll services for the organisation. As a Payroll Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with employment conditions, tax provisions, superannuation standards, and National Employment Standards.

You will work collaboratively with the People and Corporate Affairs Team and wider business to provide advice and support on payroll matters. This includes building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications or significant experience working in a similar payroll position.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and Awards, as well as organisational skills for shift workers.
  • A clear comprehension of tax, superannuation, and salary packaging mechanics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate mutually acceptable outcomes with stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail skills with pride in produced quality of work.
