Senior Site Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and supervise one of our sites in the West suburbs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has earthworks experience and can effectively manage a diverse team while treating them with respect.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for supervision of all site operators, visitors, and contractors. They will also be in charge of traffic management of all plant and machinery entering and leaving the site, coordination and control of disposal of material on site, promotion of a strong safety-conscious culture, maintenance of a tidy, safe, and hazard-free site, daily pre-start checks, presentation of an approachable and proactive leader to all stakeholders, provision of a professional and courteous service to all customers and contractors, recording of daily machine use, supervision and operation of plant equipment, control of movement, distribution, and testing of all material processed at the site, inspection of loads, and accurate reporting and management of site costs.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess material knowledge, strong awareness of compaction methods with earthmoving equipment, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and positively with internal and external stakeholders, and a strong work ethic. They will also have excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct a team.
