Senior Site Engineer – Civil & Steel Projects | Melbourne

Salary: $130k–$150k + super + allowances (depending on experience)

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Employment Type: Full-Time

We're currently looking for Senior Site Engineers to join a client's team delivering large-scale civil and structural steel projects across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee day-to-day site operations on complex civil and steel projects


• Plan and manage crane operations, ensuring safety and compliance


• Prepare and implement SWMS and other safety documentation


• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet program targets


• Monitor site quality, safety, and environmental standards


• Track progress and report on key milestones, variations, and delivery risks


• Liaise with engineering, site and project management teams

Requirements:


• 4–6 years of site engineering experience in civil infrastructure and steel works


• Proven experience with crane lift planning and SWMS preparation


• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and safety standards


• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred)


• Strong communication and coordination skills


• Local experience highly regarded
