As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or other methods to ensure a smooth finish. You will apply coatings to metal, concrete, or other materials, using appropriate techniques and equipment.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Performing surface preparation on steel or hard composition objects to remove all contamination and achieve the specified finish.
  • Applying paint or similar coatings using spraying or brushing techniques, adhering to painting specifications and required standards.
  • Reviewing and complying with blast profile tolerances and specifications, taking precise measurements as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Industrial Painting or Blasting, or relative experience.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and Work at Heights & Confined Space Tickets.
  • Dogging/Rigging certification (preferred but not essential) and Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential).
  • Local residency in the Southwest region of Australia.
