Job Title: Industrial Painter

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform surface preparation on steel or hard composition objects and apply paint or similar coatings using spraying or brushing techniques.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring the removal of all contamination, achieving the specified finish, and reviewing painting specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with blasting to profile tolerances and specifications, taking precise measurements when measuring blast profile, and maintaining accurate records of painting thickness.
  • Strong organizational skills are required to manage inventory of materials, including paints and consumables, and notify the supervisor of any shortages.
Requirements:
  • A recognised trade certificate in industrial painting or blasting is essential, along with valid driver's license and work at heights and confined space tickets.
  • Dogging/rigging certification and forklift ticket are preferred but not essential.
  • Physical fitness for manual labour and ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening are mandatory.
  • A strong commitment to safety and reliable work ethic is required.
