About the Role

As a seasoned professional, you will lead and motivate a team of claims consultants in our Kawana office to deliver exceptional service and meet agreed objectives.

This exciting opportunity involves:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and monitor the team to execute a high standard of service and process adherence.
  • Claims Portfolio Management: Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims, including workload prioritisation, claim review and authorisation, technical product and process support, and performance reporting.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities to improve Claims performance.

You will be responsible for providing detailed input into ongoing process and system development, staffing requirements, and recruitment.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A well-developed understanding of legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations in the FSR environment.
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or equivalent.
  • Extensive Home Claims experience.
  • Proven ability in leading and motivating people.
  • Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems.
  • A focus on Customer outcomes and relations.
  • Ability to innovate and develop processes and procedures.
  • Ability to manage conflict and negotiate where required.
