The Role

We seek an experienced Claims Operations Manager to lead our team of claims consultants in Kawana and drive our company's goals forward. This role is responsible for:

  • Leading and monitoring the team to ensure they deliver high-quality services and adhere to established processes.
  • Managing a portfolio of claims, including workload prioritization, claim review, and technical support.
  • Contributing to strategic and operational activities to continually improve claims performance.
  • Providing input on ongoing process and system development.
  • Assisting in staffing requirements and recruitment.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A well-developed understanding of legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations in the FSR environment.
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or equivalent.
  • Extensive Home Claims experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, including motivating people and analysing/resolving problems.
  • A focus on customer outcomes and relations.
  • Ability to innovate and develop processes/procedures.
  • Conflict management and negotiation skills.
