The Role
We are seeking a Claims Team Manager to develop, coach and motivate a team of claims consultants in order to meet agreed objectives in our Kawana office.
- Lead and monitor the team to execute a high standard of service and process adherence.
- Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims including: workload prioritisation and allocation, claim review and authorisation, technical product, process and system and compliance support, performance and progress reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities that will continually improve Claims performance.
- Provide detailed input into ongoing process and system development.
- Provide input into staffing requirements and recruitment.

Your Skills and Qualifications
- Well-developed and demonstrated understanding of the legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations to operate in the FSR environment.
- Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience.
- Extensive Home Claims experience.
- Proven ability in leading and motivating people.
- Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems.
- A core focus on Customer outcomes and relations.
- Ability to innovate and be creative in developing process and procedures.
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required.
- Home claims experience preferred but not essential.
What We Offer
- $110,000 - $130,000 per year based on experience.
- Location: This role is based at our Kawana Edge Office.
