We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our Acute Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical services to children and families with complex needs.
About the Role- Provide direct, high-level clinical services to children and families with complex needs, while guiding best practice in assessment, intervention, and therapeutic support.
- Support the professional growth of staff and students through mentoring, training, and clinical supervision, fostering a skilled and confident workforce.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice, ensuring care is culturally appropriate, integrated, and responsive to community needs.
- Champion interdisciplinary teamwork and build strategic partnerships across sectors to enhance service delivery and child wellbeing outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work (eligible for AASW membership) or Psychology (with general registration under the Psychology Board of Australia).
- Extensive clinical expertise in psychosocial assessment and therapeutic intervention with children and families facing complex issues (e.g., domestic violence, mental health, substance use).
- Demonstrated success in clinical supervision, mentoring staff and students, and driving continuous quality improvement in service delivery.
- Deep knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and the social determinants of health.
- Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
