Aboriginal Child and Family Care Leader

This is a unique opportunity to lead the Aboriginal Child and Family Service, working with vulnerable families and supporting access to health services.
The successful candidate will have post-graduate qualifications in health or social science areas, experience managing multidisciplinary teams, and a strong commitment to embedding culture in practice.
About The RoleThe service supports families through antenatal, sustained home visiting, allied health, and paediatric specialist components. It operates within a cultural framework that prioritizes clinical governance.
The leader will establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to health services for Aboriginal families.
About The TeamThe Aboriginal Child and Family Service has a large multidisciplinary team, comprising Aboriginal Health Workers, Child and Family Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. The leadership team ensures cultural integrity and strong clinical governance.
The service provides mentoring, training, and development opportunities, as well as a supportive workforce of Aboriginal colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Aboriginal Child and Family Service and its multidisciplinary team.
- Establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to health services for Aboriginal families.
- Embed culture in practice and uphold cultural integrity within clinical governance.
- Post graduate qualifications in health or social science areas or relevant work experience.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary or complex teams structures.
- Australian C-Class driver's license required.
