Emotional Wellbeing Specialist – Early Intervention & Development

  • Promote healthy emotional development and address early warning signs of mental health issues in children aged 0–12.
  • Deliver high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to support preschool-aged children transitioning to school.

This specialist role focuses on providing a nurturing environment for young children, offering evidence-based screenings, intakes, assessments, and therapy services.

You'll work closely with children, families, and their support networks to foster positive outcomes during these formative years.

Duties:
  • Assess consumer needs and provide tailored psychological services within Primary and Community Health.
  • Support the implementation of developmental screening programs for preschool-aged children.
  • Evaluate clinical outcomes of services and contribute to education and training programs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care pathways.
  • Foster strong relationships with families, caregivers, and community organizations to promote child wellbeing.
