This is a strategic and relational leadership opportunity for an experienced educator who can combine vision with practical management of student wellbeing programs in a values driven context.
The Opportunity OverviewThe Head of Student Wellbeing will be a pivotal member of the Executive Team, responsible for leading the School's wellbeing and pastoral care strategy. This role requires a collaborative leader who can build capacity in staff, support students with care and partner effectively with families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the School's pastoral team to ensure effective communication with families and staff.
- Oversee the care of students with pastoral concerns and develop strategies to promote their wellbeing.
- Develop, implement and evaluate wellbeing programs that align with the School's strategic plan and values.
- Promote contemporary approaches to pastoral care informed by current research and best practice.
- Manage student behaviour and wellbeing processes to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
- An experienced educational leader with a proven record in pastoral care and wellbeing.
- Strategic, reflective, innovative with knowledge of current national and global trends in student wellbeing.
- A collaborative member of an executive team, committed to contributing to the spiritual, academic and pastoral life of the School.
Maintaining a child-safe environment is a priority at this school. All staff are required to comply with our Child Protection policies and hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
