Role Summary:

This Senior Maintenance Planner position is a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and productivity of our mobile fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical trade or engineering background, with a proven track record in maintenance planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing best-in-class maintenance practices to maintain high standards of safety, productivity, and equipment reliability
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to manage lead times on parts and optimize inventory
  • Prioritizing work and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives
  • Forecasting costs for short to mid-term field work and providing accurate budgetary information
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal departments and key suppliers to drive collaboration and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative, WH&S standards, and site policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade or Engineering qualification
  • 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Planner (desired)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, maintenance planning, and scheduling principles and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
