Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned maintenance leader to oversee our mine's operations, ensuring optimal equipment availability and safety standards.

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team, engaging and motivating members to achieve high plant reliability and performance. This role offers autonomy and respect, allowing you to drive outcomes with accessible support from senior leadership.

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment usage.
  • Manage planned, breakdown, and repair activities, prioritizing tasks to meet operational demands.
  • Communicate changes impacting mine priorities, fostering collaboration among teams.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure effective maintenance delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A trade or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • Significant leadership experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of field equipment, including CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr, and Epiroc drills.
  • Experience applying best practice maintenance techniques to optimize equipment availability.
