Risk Management Professional

We are seeking a Risk Management Professional to drive the enhancement of our organisation's risk culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid business units in identifying and recording Key Risks and Controls
  • Develop a controls self-assessment program to ensure controls are tested regularly
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to reduce the likelihood or impact of identified risks.
  • Monitor and track the status of identified risks, assessing their potential impact and the effectiveness of mitigation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging risk trends and best practices, securing necessary resources, approvals, and support for the successful implementation of remediation plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience within Operational Risk or Enterprise Risk related roles, ideally in a Line 1 capacity.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
  • Banking experience ideal but not mandatory.
